PM and Nandan Nilekani Now Vindicate KTMT Strategy of Oct 2010 to use RTB, NBP and
NeGP to Curb Graft in India
KTMT News – 03 Nov 2012
….This is so heartening to note that the honorable PM on Oct 19 2012 and Nandan
Nilekani on 01 Nov 2012 have both advocated the use of technology to curb graft
in India.
….This is a vindication of the strategy advocated by KTMT in Oct 2010 to implement
Right To Broadband (RTB), National Broadband Plan (NBP) and National e Governance
Plan (NeGP).
…RTB has been included in NTP 2012.
…Implementation of NBP is being undertaken by Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL)
as National Optical Fiber Network (NOFN) roll out since Feb 2012.
…The grey area is NeGP which needs to be attended to as a true program capable of
curbing the graft. Only the office of PMO can make this happen else it would either
never be completed or take so long that the country would have suffered economic
damage beyond repairs.
